This summer, I ran away with the circus! Well, OK, not exactly... but pretty close. I joined the Flying Karamazov Brothers, the Fighting Instruments of Karma Marching Band and a joyful army of jugglers, aerialists, physical comedians, singers and a magician on the
There were parades, community shows, workshops, potlucks and a big vaudeville show in each town. My main performance was a song I wrote - as singing suffragette Clara Tweaker, stomping for the 19th Amendment (the show paid homage to the first Chautauquas in the 1920's).

Back in Los Angeles, Amy sang backing vocals for upcoming records by blues/rockmeister Bob Malone and Australian singer/songwriter Trysette Loosemore. --------JANUARY 2013-------- Amy & Marc (center) with the cast of the Millikin Workshop Amy and librettist/co-lyricist Marc Acito were awarded a NAMT Writers Residency Grant for the development of BASTARD JONES at Millikin University's New Musicals Workshop. Amy will be teaching vocal clinics at the A Cappella Project in Philadelphia's Summer Festival on July 28th.

Amy appeared as a featured writer in Dylan Brody's THINKING ALLOWED at the Fake Gallery in Hollywood and as the special guest singer-songwriter in Julia Fordham and Friends at Molly Malone's in Los Angeles.
In fall 2010, Amy served as creative consultant on the PBS concert special Call Me Irresponsible for the luminous Ashley Brown (Broadway's MARY POPPINS)The show won a 2011 Telly Award for Outstanding Original Entertainment Programming!

Amy and Marc's rock musical, BASTARD JONES was one of ten finalists for the 2012 Eugene O'Neill Music Theatre Conference. There were 187 entries.

Amy's deliciously blasphemous Holiday tune, HOW DID THIS THING GET IN ME? is nominated for a 2012 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) Award for Special Musical Material! Doctor Demento plays The Bobs' version in his annual Christmas show, but you can hear Amy's solo version HERE.

Amy will perform in her last official shows with The Bobs on 12/28 in Portland and on 12/29 in Seattle. What a long, strange and wonderful trip it’s been!

Amy was honored to be a guest vocalist in the premiere of Evan Solot’s choral and chamber orchestra, “The Hawk” at St. Bartholomew’s Church and the Guggenheim Pavilion at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Amy also performed in the all-star lineup at the Duplex’s Annual Gala in NYC.
