  Amy led master classes at the SingStrong Festival in Washington, DC ("Finding Your Funny Onstage"), the Syracuse University Drama Dept. (the Weekly Drama Laband with Syracuse's vocal jazz ensemble, WINDJAMMER at the Setnor School of Music...

  
With fellow SU Alum Terese Genecco and Tim Davis-Reed at Syracuse University

...followed by four days of Las Vegas schmoozing with Triple Scoop Music, a great company that licenses some of the I ARE Music catalog.


Back in Los Angeles, Amy sang backing vocals for upcoming records by blues/rockmeister Bob Malone and Australian singer/songwriter Trysette Loosemore.



--------JANUARY 2013--------

Amy and librettist/co-lyricist Marc Acito were awarded a NAMT Writers Residency Grant for the development of BASTARD JONES at Millikin University's New Musicals Workshop. It was an invaluable 10 days that made the show immensely tighter.  Thanks to all who were involved!

"Going on between Fountains of Wayne and Donald Fagen at Judith Owen & Harry Shearer's Holiday SingAlong in NYC was a thrill I will not soon forget. Second only to Fagen telling me he liked my solo tune ("How Did This Thing Get in Me?")."

TWO BOBS, NO WAITING, the show Amy did with Bob Malone (now John Fogerty's keyboard guy!) last January in New York, was nominated for several Broadway World Cabaret Awards. ANYONE can vote and you don't have to vote in all categories. Please vote!

Catch the Peepshow Trio's reunion show in Los Angeles on Sunday 8/19. Gary Stockdale is an Emmy-nominated composer of music for Penn & Teller: BULLSH*T, and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. He and Amy are 4/5 of THE PEEPSHOW TRIO (don't try to figure it out), a band they formed a couple of years ago. Details here.

Amy will be teaching vocal clinics at the A Cappella Project in Philadelphia's Summer Festival on July 28th.

Amy appeared as a featured writer in Dylan Brody's THINKING ALLOWED at the Fake Gallery in Hollywood and as the special guest singer-songwriter in Julia Fordham and Friends at Molly Malone's in Los Angeles.

In fall 2010, Amy worked as a creative consultant on the PBS concert special Call Me Irresponsible for the luminous Ashley Brown (Broadway's MARY POPPINS). Just found out it won a 2011 Telly Award for Outstanding Original Entertainment Programming. You can see a clip

Amy and Marc's rock musical, BASTARD JONES was one of ten finalists for the 2012 Eugene O'Neill Music Theatre Conference. There were 187 entries. On the way people!

Amy's deliciously blasphemous Holiday tune, HOW DID THIS THING GET IN ME? is nominated for a 2012 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) Award for Special Musical Material! Doctor Demento plays The Bobs' version in his annual Christmas show, but you can hear Amy's solo version HERE.

Amy will perform in her last official shows with The Bobs on 12/28 in Portland and on 12/29 in Seattle. What a long, strange and wonderful trip it’s been!

Amy was honored to be a guest vocalist in the premiere of Evan Solot’s choral and chamber orchestra, “The Hawk” at St. Bartholomew’s Church and the Guggenheim Pavilion at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.



Amy also performed in the all-star lineup at the Duplex’s Annual Gala in NYC.

She also took her last official East Coast bow with The Bobs at
